How subscription plans work

A subscription plan lets students pay you on a regular schedule for ongoing access to your classes.

A plan and its prices

The plan describes what students get, such as every course in your academy. A plan can have several prices, for example a monthly price and a cheaper yearly one. Students choose one price at checkout.

Draft and published

A new plan starts as a draft. Nobody can buy it until it has at least one price and you publish it, so you can prepare everything calmly.

When students are charged

Students pay when they subscribe and then again at the start of every period. Payments go to your connected payouts account, which is why payouts setup comes before your first real price.
