DIOSTYLE BACHATA

Claudio — Founder of DioStyle

Originally from Madagascar and based in Lyon, France, Claudio is an international bachata artist, dancer, choreographer and educator. A World and European Bachata Champion and French Bachata Solo Champion, he brings together influences from Dominican bachata, Afro and urban dance cultures, shaped by years of exploration across different movement styles.

He is the creator of DioStyle, an evolving artistic and educational approach built around a simple philosophy:

Music as your guide. Your body as the instrument.

His work explores the relationship between music, body awareness, movement and human connection. Rather than focusing only on learning steps or reproducing choreography, he encourages dancers to understand how they move, develop their musical sensitivity and make their own artistic choices.

Through DioStyle Online Solo Training, workshops and immersive experiences, Claudio creates spaces for investigation, experimentation and personal discovery, where technique supports comfort, intention and expression.

His goal is not to teach dancers to move like him, but to give them the tools to develop their own way of dancing.

Understand your movement. Connect with the music. Make it your own.
