MCP server for AI assistants

Kadens runs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Connect your AI assistant once, then ask it in plain words to work with your account: events, orders, students, schedule and website.

What you can ask

A few things people ask once their assistant is connected.

  • How many tickets have we sold for Saturday's workshop, and who has not checked in yet?
  • Add a beginners class every Tuesday at 7 pm for the next two months.
  • Which students have a subscription that renews this month?
  • Change the opening hours on my website.

Endpoint

One address for every client. It speaks MCP over streamable HTTP.

Connect your assistant

Pick your client. They all reach the same server, with the same permissions and the same safety rules.

Claude

Sign-in

Claude on the web, desktop and mobile.

  1. Open Claude settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector and paste your endpoint URL.
  3. Choose Connect. Kadens asks you to sign in, pick a profile and approve permissions.
  4. In a chat, turn the Kadens connector on.

ChatGPT

Sign-in

ChatGPT on the web. Your account and workspace must allow developer mode and custom MCP connections.

  1. In ChatGPT settings, turn on Developer mode under Security and login, or Apps → Advanced Settings.
  2. Open Plugins and choose +, or open Apps and choose Create.
  3. Enter a name and description, paste your endpoint URL as the MCP server URL and choose OAuth.
  4. Approve in Kadens and complete any tool scan, finish creating the connection, then enable it in a chat.

Claude Code

Sign-in

The terminal agent. Run this once inside your project.

After adding the server, start Claude Code in the same project, run /mcp and select kadens to authenticate. Follow the browser approval flow. Kadens will describe Claude Code as software on your computer.

Cursor

API key

Add this to your Cursor MCP settings and replace the placeholder with an API key.

Any MCP client

Sign-in / API key

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP works. Paste the endpoint above. If the client supports OAuth, it signs in through Kadens. If not, send an API key in this header.

Authorization header
Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY>

Sign-in and permissions

Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code sign in with OAuth 2.1. Kadens opens a page where you sign in, choose the profile the assistant acts as and approve the permissions it asks for. Nothing is shared until you approve.

Each connection belongs to one profile. To work with another studio or profile, connect again and choose it.

Permissions are grouped into scopes, listed with each group of tools below. Untick any you do not want to grant: the assistant can only see and do what those scopes allow.

Clients without OAuth, such as Cursor, use an API key you issue in your dashboard under Integrations, then MCP. You choose its scopes when you create it and can revoke it at any time.

Issue an API key

Tools

The tools the server offers right now, grouped by area and read live from the server. Each group lists the scopes it needs. Tool names and descriptions are in English, exactly as your assistant reads them.

Using actions

Beyond the tools above, your assistant can run any of the business actions listed below through five general tools.

The five action tools

  • kadens_actions_search finds actions by the words you would use to describe them.
  • kadens_action_describe shows the input and output schema of one action.
  • kadens_action_read runs an action that only reads.
  • kadens_action_run runs an action that changes data.
  • kadens_action_run_destructive runs a change that cannot be undone. Your assistant app asks you to confirm it first.

Consent

  • The assistant needs the actions.delegate permission plus the permission of each action’s area, for example events.write.
  • It only ever sees and runs the actions its permissions allow.
  • It acts as the connected business profile, never as one of its customers.
  • A credential that may not move money never sees the actions that move money.

Example: create an event

  1. You ask your assistant to create an event.
  2. It calls kadens_actions_search with create event.
  3. It calls kadens_action_describe with event.event.create to read the input schema.
  4. It calls kadens_action_run with event.event.create, passing a body built from that schema.
  5. The answer returns the new event.

Action catalog

Every business action an assistant can run through the action tools, grouped by area and read live from the server. Ids and summaries are in English, exactly as your assistant reads them.

Safety

  • Every tool declares whether it only reads or also makes changes. Tools that delete or cancel something are marked Needs confirmation, and your assistant asks you before running them.
  • An assistant connected by signing in can never move money. Refunds and payouts need an API key that the account owner issues on purpose.
  • Every call is recorded in an audit log: which tool ran, when, with what outcome and through which connection.
  • Disconnect at any time from Integrations, then MCP, or from inside the assistant. It takes effect immediately: the next request is refused.
  • Requests are rate limited. An assistant that sends too many in a short time is asked to wait and try again.

Data and privacy

Kadens never receives your conversation with the assistant, only the tool calls it makes. We log the tool name, the outcome, the time and the credential used, never the content of what the assistant sends. What the assistant's provider does with the data it receives is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
